No, Irish citizens do not need a visa for tourism or family visits to Suriname of up to 90 days, but you must pay the Entry Fee and carry the voucher before your trip. Business, internship and work need a visa.

Irish citizens are exempt from a visa for tourism or family visits of up to 90 days. Since 15 January 2024 you must pay the Entry Fee before your trip (through the official link from the Surinamese government) and show the voucher to your airline before boarding. The Entry Fee is not a visa. Business, internship and work trips need a visa. Passport validity and any digital arrival form are not yet confirmed in the sources we checked.
