Official guidance conflicts. The State Department says US citizens need an eVisa with pre-approval before travel. Suriname's government-authorised VFS site lists the US among entry-fee countries (90 days, tourism/family only). Either way you need an advance online document — confirm which applies with Suriname's embassy, VFS or your airline before boarding. Complete the free Immigration Customs Form (icf.sr) for entering and leaving before boarding.
